Hotel Botanico Rooms
All of the rooms at this fantastic hotel are spread out over five floors and every room features a fantastic view of either the mountains or the ocean, so no one has to go without. The décor here is nothing to write home about, but the furnishings are new and tastefully done. The Hotel Botanico is one of the few hotels on the island that still offer smoking rooms, so be sure to ask for a non-smoking room if you don’t smoke. Perhaps the best part of the rooms here is the fact that they all come with balconies, which is rare here, and it adds a perfect romantic touch.
Hotel Botanico Restaurants & Bars
You can start your day here with an excellent breakfast buffet that is usually packed, so arrive early. From there, there are three on site restaurants to choose from, and they are all excellent. Il Pappagallo serves some of the best Italian food on the island and features a relaxed atmosphere that doesn’t require a dress code of any kind. The Oriental is a beautifully appointed Asian themed restaurant that serves mostly Thai food but also serves some Japanese and Chinese dishes. Finally, La Parrilla offers a beautiful rustic country style setting and fantastic grilled dishes.
Hotel Botanico Facilities
The resort offers a whole host of facilities you can choose from. There is swimming, tennis, aerobics and yoga all on property, while golf, mini golf and bike rentals are just a short distance away. There is a full service spa on property, as well as a sauna and the resort offers convention and wedding services, too. There is full babysitting and child care amenities for those who need it as well as a library, game room and much, much more.
