In a fishing village famed for its seafood restaurants, Los Roques certainly stands out as the star. Yes, it might be slightly more expensive than the others, but as with anything, you get what you pay for.
WIth a quayside setting, sunset is the ideal time to grab a terrace table and sip on a glass of cold white and order a plate of fish fresh from the Atlantic.
Lobster stew is highly recommended as a starter (€19). Pan-fried dorada with yucca chips and salad leaves is one of the more popular main dishes (€18). If you're not a fish fan, pasta and meat dishes are also on offer.
If you want to splash the cash a little farther, Los Roques do a nice line in caviar.
