Although the Siam Park tried to take on Barcelona’s Sagrada Familia for the award of ‘most overdue completion date’, now it's open we have to say the Park is something else. The rides are phenomal, the setting awesome, and the organisation superb.
Now I’m not a screamer, but plummeting 28 metres down a near-vertical chute without expelling at least a couple of expletives is nigh on impossible. Add a pool-ful of crocodiles at the bottom (coming soon) and I’d imagine the air above the Tower of Power will be permanently blue.
The Jungle Snake is the most fun you can have with your arse wedged into an inflatable donut as you career haphazardly down a watery chute. Tip for the serious scream-seekers, choose one of the dark green chutes over the light green - it’s the difference between parp-parping along a country lane and skateboarding the wrong way up the TF-1.
The Volcano is like being flushed down the loo with three of your mates. Being trapped inside the laser-filled dome on a quadruple polo mint, trying to find the u-bend for the final flush down and out is like nothing you’ll ever experienced. Unless of course, you have been flushed down the toilet with three of your mates at some point in your life.
